I told you earlier that I made this summer a biiiig batch of dandelion oil and I still have some left. So I wanted to make some more soap. Can there be anything more wonderful than to preserve some summer and use that product in the winter when it is cold. I bought Honeysuckle FO and I was so happy when I found out that it is that flower my parents have in their front yard and they smell so good!
Vähän vinksin voinksin, mut ei haittaa ;) |
Halusin tarkoituksella tehdä yksinkertaisen saippuan joten valitsin vain kolmet rasvat ja nesteeksi laitoin ihoa hoitavaa vuohenmaitoa. Käytin taas itse hapatettua raakaa vuohenmaitoa, koska se tekee toden totta saippuan kovemmaksi ihan muutamassa viikossa ja neljän viikon kuluttua saippua tuntuu kuin se olisi saanut kypsyä useita kuukausia.
I made again a very simple soap with only two oils and one butter. As liquid I used sour raw goat milk, because it is really true that it makes the soap harder in a few weeks. And in four weeks the soap feels like it have been curing for several months.

Kuvat on otettu pari päivää sen jälkeen kun leikkasin saippuat ja tuntuvat nyt jo todella napakan kovilta. Kivaa :) Luulen vähän että tästä tulee minun uusi lempisaippua.
The pictures are taken a few days after cutting the soaps and they are already quite hard. Nice :) I think this is going to be my new favorite soap.
500 g oliiviöljyä johon on uutettu voikukkia
200 g kookosöljyä
75 g kaakaovoita
320 g hapatettua raakaa vuohenmaitoa + 106 g lipeää
15 ml Kuusama tuoksuöljyä
hieman vihreetä kromioksiidia
500 g dandelion infused olive oil
200 g coconut oil
75 g cocoa butter
320 g sour raw goat milk + 106 g lye
15 ml Honeysuckle FO
a little bit of green chrome dioxide
So, you made it! Nice!
VastaaPoistaAnd taking into account the ingredients, it is a luxury soap! Mine is still curing, have to try it once!
Beautiful swirls, Marika!
I hope this is a very nice soap. At least it feels like that now. Simple and with a few ingredients, but still so skin loving :)
PoistaThank you Natalia!
Thanks Natalia :) I also still have to wait a few weeks for the soaps to cure.
PoistaBeautiful swirls Marika...it really looks like a summery soap! I keep forgetting to try letting my goat milk 'sour', I really need to try that!
VastaaPoistaThanks, I also like the swirls :) I think this will be a popular soap in the winter. I can imagine that it is still +30 C and not -30C outside.
PoistaYou have to try the sour goat milk! It is fantastic.
I also haven't tried to use "sour" milk but you really inspired me. I like this soap so much, such a nice combination of colors and scent!
VastaaPoistaI´m glad you like it :)
Kotimaista on vaikeampi löytää.
PoistaSo simple and neat recipe, love the cocoa butter as the third ingredient. I like the swirl and colours are so soft and calm!
VastaaPoistaI'm glad you noticed the soft colors. Most times I prefer strong colors and contrast.
PoistaI like to use summer scents in the winter too. :) The soap is very pretty Marika..beautiful swirl! I like the soft colors...the color of the dandelion-infused olive oil is such a pretty yellow.
VastaaPoistaThanks Kalla :) I think most soap makers already think about fall/winter, but I want to enjoy summer as much as I can and it is almost like going on a holiday when you have a summery soap bar with you in the shower when it is freezing outside.
