Can a woman have too many lipsticks? ;)
Do you remember when I made my own lipstick in the middle of April? I gave one too my mother, I have used one and from the third and last one is only half left. I have not used the one I put in a little jar/box. I think I will melt it and put it in lipstick dispensers.
Luin Saippuapajan koekeittiötä ja siellä oli tehty huulikiiltoa joka oli värjätty punaisella rautaoksiidilla. No, sillä minäkin haluan värjätä huulipunani! Saippuapajan ohje on hyvin samantyyppinen kuin huulipunan, mutta tein kuitenkin muutaman muutoksen.
I red about a lipgloss on the blog Saippuapajan koekeittiö and it was colored with red iron oxide. I also want to color my lipstick with that! The recipe is similar to the one I made the lipstick with, but I made a few changes.
6 g risiiniöljyä
4 g jojobaöljyä
6 g mehiläisvahaa
2 g kaakaovoita
ihan vähän titanioksiidia
pari tippaa E-vitamiiniöljyä
muutama tippa Vanilja-makuöljyä
noin 1/8 tl punaista rautaoksiidia
muutama murunen steviajauhetta (ei siis mitään Canderelin tai Hermesetaksen vaan ihan oikeata steviaa)
6 g castor oil
4 g jojoba oil
6 g beeswax
2 g cocoa butter
titanium dioxide
two drops of vitamin E oil
a few drops of Vanilla flavor oil
about 1/8 teaspoon o f red iron oxide
a couple crumbs of stevia
Tässä näätte eron. Alhaalla kerros punaa, ylhäällä kolme kerrosta - Here you can see the difference between 3 layers and 1 layer. |
This color is really nice orange red tone. I have naturally very dark lips, so this lipstick doesn´t look so dark on me. On other who have lighter lips it will look more dark red.
Lueskelin eilen pitkästä aikaa LisaLiesen sivustoa ja yllätyin kovasti kun näin tämän ja tämän! Siis siellä mainittiin tämä minun pikkuinen blogi :)
It´s been a long time since I read LisaLieses blog, but I red it yesterday and I was so surprised when I saw this and this! My little blog is mentioned there :)
Lovely color, Marika!
VastaaPoistaI am about to post a blog about the same topic, as I was so inspired by your lipsticks!
Thank you!
Thanks. They look very dark even though the color is not that dark on the lips. I´m glad that you also wanted to try to make lipstick. I like these so much that I don´t want to use anything else.
PoistaFirst of all, congrats for the lovely feature!
VastaaPoistaI remember you have made one before and I really would like to put some on my lips. More than colour, I'm interested to see how homemade lipstick actually feels on the lips! Yours look great!
I don't have those little sticks, but I'm surely getting them soon! :-)
(did you see my latest comment on Troublemaker?)
Now I saw the comment. That could be true.
PoistaHomemade lipstick feels both light and moisturizing. It is like you are wearing only lip balm, but you also get the lovely color.
Congratulations on the LisaLise blog, how exciting and well deserved! I just love the color of this lipstick, so bold! I really need to try this, thanks so much for sharing the recipe Marika! :)
VastaaPoistaThanks =) Don´t know if it is that bold. I like to use red clothes so it suits them good. I have been told that I have the same colors as Snow White (red lips, white skin and almost black hair).
PoistaGorgeous color! Thank you very much for the recipe and sharing of your experience with all of us!
VastaaPoistaThank you. I also like the color very much. I have to buy more micas so I can alter the colors.
