Suomalainen saippuanvaihto

I participated in a soap swap through a Finnish soap group on Facebook. The theme of the swap is Fall. Why does it feel like Christmas when you find a package in the mail box? First I have to feel what the package feels like. Then I open it and look at the soaps. After that I want to smell them and last I have to read what is written about the soaps.

The first soaps I got was from Heidi from Mutkutti. Her soap are familiar to me, because I just had to try out her soaps. I liked them a lot, but sadly I had already used them all. The thing I best remember about Heidi´s soaps is that the lather has very big bubbles that shine nicely.

This soap is called "Berry Forest" and it smells so good. The scent is a bit familiar, but still a new one to me. It is called Woodland Walk and it is a dupe of Lush´s Figs & Leaves, that is why I have smelled it before.

Toisen saippuan nimi on "Keltaiset koivut".
The second soap is called "Yellow Birches". And look, Heidi has put some real birch leaves in the package <3 This soap smells like cherry flowers, moss and patchouli. Heidi writes that she did not get the colors she wanted, but this soap looks wonderful! I have to admit that I am a bit jealous about that stamp. I also want a soap stamp...

Thank you Heidi for these soaps! I already sent her a message that the soaps are not in the bathroom. They are in my bookshelf so I can look and admire them.

  1. Oioi miten ihanoita nämä taas. Itse en ole ennättänyt saippuaa tekeen pitkiin aikoihin, onneksi niitä on vielä omasta takaa jäljellä.
Mut mut, saisinko tuon fb ryhmän osoitteen jos sellainen on jo perustettu. Joskus piti tehdä se ryhmä, vaan se jäi.

  3. They are beautiful, I'm sure you enjoyed. I also want my soaps I get from swaps to last longer,so I always cut them in two. I use the first half right away, so I can try the soap and still get back to another half to sniff it again.

  4. They really look nice! The stamp is lovely, such a dedication!
    Enjoy them, Marika!
I like to use the soaps I receive right away, and after 2 days of using, I put them aside and keep them as 'souvenir' ;)

    1. Natalia, I could not use a soap for only two days! Mainly because they are so wonderful, but also because I think the soap is not at its best for the 1-2 first uses. The lather much more after that.

  6. Ihanaa, että pidät ♥
Tuo kahtia laitto voisikin olla ratkaisu, en nimittäin malta ottaa muuten näistä yhtäkään käyttöön! :D

Thanks for all the kind words ♥
Maja gave an excellent idea, I think I'll halve the soaps that I've got soap in exchange!
